- Under this agreement the VA Medical Center Pharmacy Service will provide prescribed vendor for this Roche 4800/HPV. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source in a specific area of responsibility. This action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. No solicitation document is available. General Information: A1. Title of Project: Roche cobas HPV Test/4800 System A2. Scope of Work: Vendor (Roche Diagnostics) will provide all instrumentation (cobas 4800 System), training, service and technical support and make available all reagents (cobas HPV Test), consumables and supplies as needed on a Cost-per-Test basis. A3. Performance Period: One year award with option to exercise two additional 1-year options. Performance period of the contract will commence on the date of equipment installation. A4.
