- J&A The office of Naval Intelligence intends to award a sole-source contract to Thermo Electron North America LLC to renew annual maintenance support. The Sole-Source justification is attached. The proposed contract action is on Fourier Infrared Transform Spectrometer Nexus 670, Continuum Research Microscope and GC/IR Module Interface, S/N AEQ9900285, 266C, AEO9900111 for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 11:59 p.m. Sunday 04 Dec 2011 will be considered by the Government whether to conduct competitive procurements for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
