Description

Intent to Sole Source Notice - Boiler Fuel Treatment The Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to enter into a sole-source procurement with Brookside Sales and Service to perform services related to the generator fuel treatment of tanks. This service is a result of testing which was performed in October of 2011. NAICS code 213112 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest in this requirement no later than 10:00 AM EST December 1, 2011 to: Elaine DiBucci, Contract Specialist, at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
