Description
9612248 Rev B Countermeasures Assembly LRU Preliminary Drawing 9612256 Rev A Countermeasures Assembly LRU Preliminary Drawing This is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking sources capable of meeting the requiremetns for the F-16 Modernization Section. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation to Bid (IFB), not is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The intention is to compete a contract for the manufacture of 40-500 Countermeasures Assembly line replaceable units (LRU), part number 9611248-20. The attached preliminary drawings 9612256 Rev A and 9612248 Rev B will be provided during the sources sought/RFI phase, with finalized drawings being provided during the Request for RFP phase. Tentative period of performance is basic of 9 months followed by option periods to order additional from 0 minimum to TBD maximum quantities subject to availability of funding for requirement. This is a build to specification effort. When responding please include: 1. Company Name and Cage Code 2. Who is your POC, please provide email address and phone number 3. Experiences with same or similar items, please describe. 4. Suggested NAICS code (i.e., 336413-Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing or a different NAICS). 5. Business Size Classification for NAICS and qualifications, if any, as a sub-category (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, SDVOSB) 6. Would you be a prime or subcontractor? 7. Production Lead Time for the task performance (i.e., how many can you produce per month? and how long will it take to produce the first lot?) The Government does not intend to award on the basis of the sources sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. The information provided is considered market research and may be utilized by the USAF in developing its acquisition strategy, Statement of Objectives, and Performance Specifications. Any proprietary information that is submitted may be used as a general concept but specific information will be safeguarded as proprietary, if so marked. Interested offerors should email a response to the sources sought inquiry and include the questions listed above to the Contract Negotiator, Dawn Schmidt, OO-ALC/GHBK, dawn.schmidt@hill.af.mil. Email responses are required. Responses should be submitted by 4:00 pm MST Tuesday, 3 January 2012.
