- Note: This Revised Contract Award Announcement is to correct the Contract Award Number from the previous announcement(W912ER-11-R-0031). Contract Number: W912ER-11-C-0031 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) Middle East District has a requirement to construct a parking apron and maintenance shelters at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Shank, Afghanistan. Project includes parking apron for rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft, taxiway, and a concrete maintenance pad. The Primary facilities include a 42,000 square meters of airfield apron and 7,500 square meters of taxiway. Supporting facilities include airfield parking and taxiway lighting, pavement markings, grounding points and tie-downs, utilities, standby generator, site improvements and storm drainage. Antiterrorism/Force Protection measures will be included. All work identified in the Scope of Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Information on a site visit and instructions to obtain access to the site will be provided in the solicitation.
