Description

This is a presolicitation notice only. This is not a request for proposal. The solicitation will be posted within 30 days of this announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS) will be issuing a solicitation to lease a self-contained boiler with a capacity of 40,000 pounds of steam per hour to augment three (3) existing boilers in accordance with VA Boiler Directives and Specifications, ASME, OSHA and all other state and federal guidelines. The boiler will be located at the Marion Campus in Marion, IN. The contractor shall furnish and install the boiler, provide all certified labor and supervision, materials, safety and ancillary equipment to make the boiler fully operational with all of the boiler plant's equipment and facilities. Contractor shall be responsible for all maintenance and repair during the lease period. The intended lease period is anticipated to be one base year with four one-year options.
