- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a new requirement for non-personal legal advisory services in support of the Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) program. The selected Contractors shall provide legal advisory services for the TIFIA Joint Program Office in connection with the provision of secured (direct) loans, loan guarantees, and standby lines of credit to borrowers seeking to develop major surface transportation projects. Through the TIFIA credit program, the Department of Transportation can loan up to 33 percent of the cost of highway, transit, rail, and intermodal projects. Additional information about the TIFIA program may be found on the Internet: http://tifia.fhwa.dot.gov. It is anticipated that competition under this requirement will be Full and Open to all sources. A multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) acquisition is anticipated. It is anticipated that the total maximum contract duration will be 60 months. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541110. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the FedBizOpps posting system at https://www.fbo.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments.
