- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury, a bureau of the Department of Treasury will be soliciting proposals for data center infrastructure migration planning and execution support in connection with a planned move from the OCC's data center based in Landover, Maryland. The selected contractor shall provide services and associated materials to support the planning, engineering and implementation tasks associated with the build-out of the newly acquired colocation facility, located within 50 miles of our Headquarters in Washington, DC. Services include the review of the proposed design, the procurement and installation of equipment racks, CAT 6A UTP cable, hardware, labeling of all components, patch cables, testing and certification of all cables, and all materials and labor tat make up the structured cable plant defined in the forthcoming RFP. The contractor shall provide input into the OCC Project Management Office (PMO) on the project plan, schedule and progress on a regular schedule. The OCC will utilize the GSA 8(a) STARS II GWAC, Functional Area 2 (FA2) for this requirement. The solicition will be posted on GSA eBuy on or about December 12, 2011.
