- This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) only. This Sources Sought, in accordance with FAR 15.201(e), is not a request for proposals (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. This is for planning and market research purposes only and shall not be considered as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. Responses will not be returned. Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) / Acquisition Directorate (AD), seeks to identify responsible potential sources and obtain information regarding, delivery time, and capabilities for those sources who can provide one or a combination of the following: Submittal Information: Over a one year period, provide the Department of Defense (DoD) access to a minimum of six (6) high school STEM education events; and one (1) annual student leadership summit. The STEM education events will consist of approximately 150-200 students per event and depending on their availability, will also include STEM community influencers consisting of parents or other family members, educators, and counselors. Approximately 600 students will attend the annual summit. All events will take place throughout South Texas. The Department of Defense engagement strategy will consist of the following: Keynote speakers at events Access to students and influencers in STEM education DoD input and participation in panels at high schools/community colleges/middle schools DoD mention in editorial coverage of the annual student leadership summit Attendance at VIP functions to build influencer base Recognition as a co-sponsor of events in press releases and agenda Exhibit/booth space at events for interviews and to distribute materials Unlimited invitations to events to promote contact and communication Logo prominently displayed at events No security clearance is required to perform this work. Proprietary Information. The Government will retain rights to all intellectual property and modification to software produced in the course of this project. Interested parties may submit a capability statement, no more than five (5) pages, for your company, your teammates and/or subcontractors. This information should include an estimate on how long it would take to deliver the requested information, the way you can deliver the information (1, 2, 3 or any combination thereof) your Facility Business Clearance (none, Secret, Top Secret), and the business size standard for North American Industry Classification Systems NAICS Code 611710. Please include company name, company address, and Cage Code. Also, please indicate if you, your teammates and/or subcontractors fall under any of the categories listed by the Small Business Administration, i.e. Women Owned Small Business.
