- Remove existing, furnish, install, and test new 125/250V DC system, including battery banks (1, 2, and 3), switchboards, and chargers, except items separately priced. Remove existing, furnish, install, and test new 120V Preferred AC system, including switchboards and inverters, except items separately priced. Remove existing, furnish, install, and test new 24/48V DC system, including battery bank 4, switchboards, and charges, except items separately priced. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This project is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 with a size standard of $14.0 million. For the purposes of this procurement, "To be considered small for the purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40% of the work with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small business concern." To be eligible for contract award a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download no earlier than 15 days following the posting of this synopsis. Pursuant to FAR, the response date of the solicitation is no earlier than 30 days from the date of the solicitation release date. The solicitation due date will be noted on the solicitation at the time of issue. There is no technical information available until the issue of the solicitation via the Internet. A contract award may or may not result from this solicitation. All costs associated with compiling proposals are at the contractor's own expense. Issue of the solicitation will be in electronic format only. No disks or hard copy will be available.
