- Description
- The National Institutes of Health intends to award a fixed priced IDIQ requirements contract for assistance in ensuring compliance with regulations and policies governing the use of radioactive materials and radiation-producing equipment for biomedical research. The services needed would be: radiation safety surveys, including MARSSIM type final site surveys; calibration of survey meters for contamination or exposure; verification of security of radioactive materials (during normal hours and after hours); preparation and decontamination of I-131 therapy rooms; support of onsite analytical laboratory; inspection of x-ray producing equipment; and administrative support for tasks performed under this contract. This performance-based, total small business set-aside will be awarded for an initial period of one year, with four successive one-year option periods, The NAICS code for this requirement is 541380, and the size standard is 12M. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about December 19, 2011. The RFP, RFP amendments and questions and answers related to the procurement shall be available via the Internet at http;//www.fedbizops.gov Offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFP to be considered for award. At this time, no written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored and list of Offerors shall be maintained.
