- Purchase Request Number: 0042608594; this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (3110-01-345-3804) for a Bearing, Roller, Tapered. Approved sources of supply include: Axletech International (CAGE 3D6E9), Oshkosh Corporation (45152), Taper Roller Bearings, Inc. (5HB43), Timken Corporation (60038), and Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems (CAGEs 78500 and ZD014). This is a Stocked Item. The FOB point is Destination, Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The required delivery is 198 days ARO. This NSN is non-commercial. The Foreign Bearing Restriction applies to this procurement. Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking Requirements shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-197K. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a quantity of 1200 each. Solicited as Unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open competitive basis. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated RFP issue date is December 22, 2011 (anticipated closing date of January 23, 2012).
