Description

The Togus VA Medical Center located at 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine, 04330 intends to release Solicitation VA-241-12-Q-0076 for Temporary Catholic Ministry Services. These services include pastoral coverage for Catholic patients, "on call" pager coverage, and "call back" coverage for seriously ill patients. The government intends to enter into a contract with a Catholic Diocese or Parish that can meet all three of these coverage needs when regular VA Catholic Clergy is not available due to illness, vacation, or high patient demand. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or about December 8th, 2011. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code will be 813110 with an applicable small business size standard of $7.0M. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All interested parties should register via FEDBIZOPPS interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FebBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in accordance with FAR 2.101,VAAR 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective firms must be registered in CCR (www.ccr.gov), and ORCA (https://orca.bpn.gov/) databases prior to award.
