- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for the ECSS program to gather information about the market capabilities to provide ERP services in support of a possible transition from a contracted systems integrator structure to an Air Force-led system integrator role. ECSS is the major information technology platform, enabling the overall USAF vision of total logistics transformation, eLog21.The ECSS program office is possibly transitioning from a contracted Systems Integrator (SI) to an Air Force-led implementer. In this capacity the Air Force would take a more active role in all the activities that are accomplished by a systems integrator in order to develop and deliver the ECSS solution. The focus of initial future releases has shifted to financial compliance as it relates to the Air Force's logistics systems. Capabilities to be developed and deployed in the next three years include core financials and wholesale and retail supply.
