- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912K6-12-Q-1006, is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 713920 and the small business size standard for this NAICS Code is $7.0 Million. The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) has a requirement for a winter mountain warfare training facility within a reasonable commuting distance of Glen Arm, Maryland. The period of training performance is 18-22 January 2012. The facility shall provide lodging for seventy (70) personnel for a total of two-hundred eighty (280) room nights. The facility shall provide approximately 280 Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Meals during the training period. The facility shall provide all equipment (rental of safety helmets, ski boots, skis & ski poles) for seventy (70) attendees, a designated training area to used by the MDARNG only during the performance period and the contractor shall provide transportation (ski lift) for all MDARNG personnel to the designated training area. The Government intends to evaluate quotations/offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors (except clarifications as described in FAR 15.306(a)).
