- Initiative is for the set up of an Indefinite Quanity Type Contract with a base period of one year and four one year option periods for NSNs 3120-01-417-0135 and NSN 3130-01-185-8920. NSN 3120-01-417-0135 is a Source Controlled item to a Sikorsky Aircraft (CAGE 78286) drawing SB7111 and P/N SB7111-101. Lord Corporation (CAGE 76005) is identified as an approved manufacturing source. NSN 3130-01-185-8920 is a Configuration Controlled item identified by a Bell Helicoper Textron (CAGE 97499) drawing 406-312-101 and drawing part number 406-312-101-101. Lord Corporation (CAGE 76005) is identified as an approved manufacturing source. Both NSNs are designated Critical Safety Items and require Serial Number Reporting Requirements (SNRR) and COQC (Certificate of Quality Compliance). Additionally, NSN 3120-01-417-0135 requires the use of a titanium casting/forging for which an EPA applies. NSN 3130-01-185-8920 requires a Contractor First Article Test and is a Type II Shelf Life item. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR part 12. Terms are FOB destination and inspection/acceptance at origin for both NSNs. The solicitation document will contain the estimated annual demand as well as minimum and maximum delivery order quantities. The solicitation will be issued on December 22, 2011.
