Description

Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC), Shreveport LA, requires a Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, parts, and maintenance for the following Government owned Siemens medical equipment; Biograph TruePoint 40 CT Scanner. The Contractor shall perform quarterly on-site preventive maintenance and repair services in accordance with manufacturer/factory specifications; inspect, adjust, lubricate, repair and test the equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation as required by manufacturer specifications; furnish all test equipment and parts in accordance with the statement of work. After completion of maintenance, the Contractor shall operate the system to ensure that all components meet required standards as outlined in the manufacturer's specifications. All components and controls shall be checked and adjusted if necessary or applicable. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the statement of work and current applicable code requirements included in the solicitation. The solicitation is to be issued as 100% unrestricted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811219. This size standard is $19 Million per year. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated issued date is December 20, 2011 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is January 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Local Time. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendment(s) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for an award. Vendors may access Central Contracts Registration at http://www.ccr.gov.
