This is a 1B source control item, and the DLA AVIATION RICHMOND does not currently have a technical package available for this NSN. This item is manufactured to a "Drawing" and to a "Part Number Item". Approved Sources: GENERAL ELECTRIC CORP., CAGE: 07482, DRAWING: 1538M13 REV. C, P/N: 1538M13P01, APPROVED SOURCE: MPB CORP./TIMKEN AEROSPACE, CAGE: 78118; GENERAL ELECTRIC CORP., CAGE: 07482, DRAWING: 9139M40 REV. R, P/N: 9139M40P01 OR 9139M40P02, APPROVED SOURCE: SKF USA INC./SKF AEROENGINE, CAGE: 38443. Terms are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Stocked Item. Packaging - MIL-DTL-197K applies. The QCC Code is FCA, and a COQC is required. This is a CSI item per SAP on 12/5/11. Progress payments will not be utilized because the conditions of FAR 32.5 have not been met. Requested delivery is 230 Days ARO. This NSN is a critical inspection, critical application, Critical Safety Item, and a Flight Safety part. This part is not commercial. Solicited as Unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open competitive basis. The award from the RFP can only be made for domestically manufactured (USA or Canada) bearing components per DFARS 252.225-7016 (DEC 2010). Solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed award for 60 pieces of material. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be December 22, 2011. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
