- The purpose of this notice is to inform industry that the revised tentative timeframe for final release of the BES II solicitation is 2 March 2012 and will be posted after final approval under FedBizOpps with the updated solicitation number of W900KK-12-R-0004. A notice will go out at that time under the DRAFT solicitation FedBizOpps page to direct interested parties to the newly posted solicitation under the updated number for your convenience. Award of the BES II contract is anticipated to be made on approximately 11 December 2012. Demonstrations will be a part of this evaluation and as of yet a revised time period for conducting demonstrations has not been determined. However, the demonstrations will not be conducted until the date for receipt of proposals which will be specified with the release of the solicitation. Additionally, this notice is to provide an additional list of questions and answers received from the revised DRAFT solicitation documents posted on FedBizOpps. Please see the attached files "Adtl Questions and Answers on DRAFT RFP 5Dec11.doc." This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to procure subject products. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement.
