- The Contractor shall purchase, inspect, test and deliver 1 NSWC-DD TETS Facility Mod Kit (EPL 316A2223-2) to support a MK 98 Mod 6 kit installation. Efforts shall be performed in accordance with OD61988, SP23 Programs Environmental, Ship Interface, Security and Safety requirements; OD62677, Mod 6/7 System Specification; OD61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs. Negotiation will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole Manufacturer of the TRIDENT II D5 Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
