- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as full and open competition with the application of FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a 5 year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Deliver Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), supply contract. The base award quantity is for 5 each, with a possibility of a maximum quantity of an additional 245 units over the next five years. CLIN 0001- Ruggedized Battery Charger MIL - STD- 810E-G: Method 514.6 Vibration, Method 516.6 Shock or Equivalent, MIL-STD 810E-G: Method 507.5 or Equivalent for Humidity: MIL-STD 461/462D CE102 EMC or Equivalent for EMI. Minimum Range for Operating Temperature: -32C to 60C. Minimum Range for Storage Temperature: -33C to 70C. It is anticipated that salient characteristics will be provided with the solicitation. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. The anticipated award date is March 1, 2012. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the Governments Central Contractor Registration (CCR). One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Acts. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Quoter ™s prior to submitting a quote carefully review ALL sections of the solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on-Submit Bid-does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format.
