- This special notice is issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project, Coolidge, Arizona that the agency intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Century Link (formerly known as Qwest) in an estimated amount of $375,000 ($75,000 base year in addition to $75,000 per year for four option years). The general description of services is stated as follows: Century Link through their federal accounts division will be providing government T-1 PRI, Telephone, Fax, Data and Digital Subscriber Line services to the San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP) Coolidge Headquarters, the Oracle Arizona field office and SCIP Electrical Substation facilities located throughout the SCIP service area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued however all responses received within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 10 calendar days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the government, the award will be issued to Century Link. Responses must be received by 1:30pm Arizona Time on December 15, 2011.
