- Description
- The Energy Information Administration (EIA), on the behalf of the Department of Energy, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy any agency requirements. Carahsoft Technology Corporation will provide EIA to renew Groundwork Open Source Enterprise Edition subscriptions in order to continue to receive enterprise monitoring solution to support business essential applications. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of one year. The NAICS code for this requirement is 511120. The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for the action is Don Higgs (Don.Higgs@eia.gov). Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capability statement by December 14, 2011 at 5:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
