- DLA Disposition Services seeks sources with the capability and interest to provide specific services consisting of quarterly Preventative Maintenance services (PMs) and as-needed repairs, including parts and labor, for a variety of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) items utilized at our Continental United States (CONUS) sites. This potential contract would replace a number of site-specific MHE maintenance contracts as they expire or otherwise become eligible, as well as include new site requirements for these services that our activity wasn't previously procuring directly. We are considering a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) procurement, to include an anticipated 12-month base period and two, 12-month options, organized by our three CONUS zones, with the identification of our zones and site locations available at http://www.dispositionservices.dla.mil/drmo/drmo-locations.shtml. Interested firms must have the capability to service all sites within one of the three zones at a minimum, and provide its quarterly PMs as well as as-needed repairs within required timeframes. More specifics on the actual MHE items and quantities will be included in an actual solicitation if market research, including this sources sought announcement, supports a resultant procurement, but various sized forklifts, sweepers, and front end loaders can be expected at the sites requiring service. The corresponding NAICs code is 811310, with the set-aside aspects of any resulting procurement action to be determined in part based upon responses to this sources sought announcement. Firms with the capability and interest to provide the services are encouraged to submit a summary indication of such, including which zone(s) they may pursue and their means to provide service coverage for the zone(s), by close of business on 20 Dec 2011. In addition to a summary of your capability to provide the services, please include any/all socioeconomic designation(s) applicable to your firm when responding to this sources sought announcement.
