- Brand name or Equal Power Meter - AMREL Solicitation N00421-12-T-0064 is issued as a synopsis/request for quote. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase request for competition, under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This request is Brand name or Equal," Amrel" under FAR clause 52.211-6. This request is set-aside for Total Small Business under authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Items must be brand new. Award is expected 12/12/2011. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 12/09/2011 before11:59 pm EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
