- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-12-Q-0292. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Quantity four (4) Rackmount Computers meeting the following minimum requirements: 1. Processor: 2 x Quad-Core Intel ® Xeon ® E5500 or 5600 Series Processors 2. Motherboard: Supermicro X8D Series Motherboard - with dual LAN 3. Memory: 12 x 8GB PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3 ECC Registered DIMM 4. Case: Supermicro - 4U/Tower - 8 x 3.5" SAS - 800W 5. Power Supply: Redundant Supermicro 800W Power Modules (1+1) 6. Controller: LSI MegaRAID 9260-8i SAS 6Gb/s 8-Port Controller with 512MB Cache 7. Optical Drive: DVD ROM 8. Hard Drives: 8 x 2.0TB SATA 6.0Gbps 7200RPM - 3.5" - Seagate Constellation ES.1 9. Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 with 5 User CALs 10. Microsoft Wired Desktop 400 Keyboard and Mouse (USB) 11. Three (3) Year Warranty with Advanced Parts Replacement and RSL 12. Rackmount Mounting Rails Offerors shall submit information providing the computer configuration and demonstrating it meets the Governments requirements. Required delivery is 30 days from date of purchase order. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334111, Size standard is 1,000 employees. 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation applies. UID tags are required. Payment terms will be invoice through wide area workflow (WAWF). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply.
