- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution in Waseca Minnesota is soliciting for price quotes on #RFQP041512012. The contractor is to supply and install a fire supression system in the FCI Waseca Multi-Purpose Building per the attached statement of work and drawing. This building stands outside the secure perimeter of the institution (on Federal property). Contractors will only be allowed to visit the worksite at the 9:00am December 15, 2011 pre-bid / site visit. The period of performance will begin within 10 days of the contractor and FCI Contracting Officer signing a notice to proceed letter. Work will be completed within 30 days of signing the notice to proceed. Award is anticipated to be on or after December 22, 2011 based on the availabliity of funds. The solicitation will be available on or after December 7, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-based and community-based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
