- The project consists of but is not limited to, the repair of existing airfieldpavement (taxiways, tow-ways, ramps, access roadways, and Aeronautical Ground Equipment(AGE) yards). The project includes the removal and replacement of badly cracked concreteramps, joint sealant, and grout. Also included in the effort is repair of the taxiwayspall damage. This project will also resurface various asphalt pavement sections withinthe DFRC main complex.This includes asphalt pavement demolition, grading, and thecompacting of new sub-grade, placement of compacted base materials or recycled roadwaymaterials, installation of asphalt concrete paving, striping, signage, and slurrysealing.
