- ***ATTENTION*** FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO: Mesha DeRamus. You may fax or email your request to ATTN: CCAM-AU-A (Bldg 5300), Mesha DeRamus, Contract Specialist, Fax 256-313-5470. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Army Contracting Command- Redstone has a requirement to procure seven each MQ-1C Gray Eagle Legacy Ground Data Terminals (GDT), seven each MQ-1C Gray Eagle Legacy Ground Control Stations (GCS) and associated initial spares to be issued on a fixed price incentive (FPI) modification to the current MQ-1C Gray Eagle LRIP I contract (W58RGZ-10-C-0068) with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064, CAGE Code 0YJB5. This is a one-time procurement of supplemental hardware to support and mitigate flight risk for MQ-1C Gray Eagle Continental United States (CONUS) operations. The estimated period of performance is 14 months after date of award. The hardware efforts are anticipated to be funded with FY10 & 11 Aircraft Procurement Army (APA) for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) entitled - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is subject to availability of funds. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
