- Description: The Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and the Army Contracting Command -New Jersey (ACC-NJ) are currently seeking sources for materials and testing in support of Low Observable Trace (LOT). LOT is a technology that can emit cold light in lieu of traditional pyrotechnic tracers on ammunition cartridges. The Army Corps of Engineers shall provide sample material that has been tested for LOT to the contractor so that further materials development for this effort can occur, including modification, enhancement and/or optimization of different phosphor materials, major testing to provide adequate data and information to develop the TDP, including performance requirements, for this technology. Specifications: A Technical Data Package (TDP) has not yet been developed for LOT. Planned Acquisition: This proposed requirement has an anticipated period of performance of one base year contract plus 2 option periods. Each contracting period will be 12 months from date of award. Submission Information: All responsible interested sources should submit their capabilities/qualification data. Submittal of information is requested via electronic mail only, no later than 30 days from the date of this notice. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government, as this notice is submitted for planning purposes only.
