- This requirement is set aside for small business concerns Contractors MUST be qualified to perform work under NAICS Code 238330 (Flooring Contractors) - as a small business per the U.S. Small Business Administration's small business size standards. Average annual receipts may not exceed $14.0 million. Introduction/Description: These specifications, together with the referenced specifications, standards, and drawings specified in the Contract Documents, cover the requirements for all work associated with the raised floor replacement project at the Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located at 2211 17th Avenue, Longmont, Colorado. Following is a general description of the work: -Remove and replace existing raised floor in the Control Wing Basement HOST Room, HOST Mechanical Room, and Automation Wing 1st Floor (DSR East Entrance).-The total contract duration for completion of all work shall be sixty (60) calendar days, this includes lead time necessary to procure the required flooring material. The installation work is allotted twenty (20) calendar days. No work shall be scheduled or take place during the week of and the weekend (5PM Fri thru 1AM Monday MST) preceding and following the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Holidays. Only emergency work to restore critical services to the facility will be considered and a moratorium waiver must be submitted and approved. The moratorium period will not be counted against the contract construction duration for the project. Perspective bidders MUST perform a MANDATORY site visit to assess the actual conditions before submitting a bid. Site visit is scheduled for Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 10AM contact Ed Velie at 303-651-4216. Contractors must have an active registration in the CCR before contract award can be made. Contractors can register at: www.ccr.gov The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer to this requirement. T3.6.1 - Small Business Development Program (Revision 21, October 2007) Small Business Development 5: DOT Lending Program This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
