- This is a Sources South (SS) Notice Only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for the acquisition and installation of security cameras at the Marion Campus. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS), Fort Wayne, IN is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, 8(a) or women owned firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. The proposed solicitation is to provide all materials, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to remove old cameras and install new security camers, monitors and communications devices. Estimated solicitation date is on or around December 20, 2011 with an estimated award date of January 20, 2012. Submit information to nikki.horther@va.gov by close of business December 12, 2011. Responses shall include 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact, 4) Phone Number, 5) Fax Number, 6) e-mail address and 8) Business Size or Set-Aside Category. This market research is for informational and planning purposes only to determine if a set-aside is appropriate.
