- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This proposed contract will provide rental forklifts assets in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Delivery Orders issued on the resulting contract based on the standards in Solicitation # W911N2-11-R-0019, for Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, PA. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Contract, with a base year period of performance with four (4) option years. Site of service work will be Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) located in the Cumberland Valley approximately 4 miles north of Chambersburg, Pa., Franklin County in south central Pennsylvania. The major roads serving the installation are by State Routes 997 and 433 off U.S. Route 11 from Chambersburg, PA or Shippensburg, PA to Gate 1 and Wisconsin Avenue Gate. The Scotland, PA interchange of Interstate 81 is located four miles southeast of Gate 1 on State Route 997. The Blue Mountain Turnpike is located 14 miles north of the installation. The Solicitation document will define the technical and performance requirements, and include a PWS and Performance Work Summary (PWS) for the following: The Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform the work as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor will manage and perform all operations for the collection, transportation and return/disposal of all leased Forklifts assets, per the PWS and Performance Work Summary. The NAICS code is 42380 and the FSC code is W099. All respondents shall be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System, have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The size standard is 100 Employees. Further information may be obtained at the website www.bpn.gov/ccr This is a reposting of a solicitation originally released in October 2011 but which experienced technical difficulties resulting in a second notification and posting. A second copy of the solicitation will be issued on or about December 07, 2011. The estimated closing date will be on or about December 21, 2011. No telephone calls will be accepted.
