- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government anticipates entering into a Firm Fixed Price Contract for Non Reoccurring Engineering services and production units for a minimum quantity of 1 and a maximum quantity of 4100 for the Tactical Aircraft (TACAIR) AN/AVS-9 Night Vision Goggle Helmet Mount. The TACAIR shall be used by the U. S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy Pilots, Weapons Officers and Electronic Counter Measures Officers. The FOB point shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance of the items shall be at shall be at destination. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Industries Night Vision (ITT), 7365 Plantation Road, Roanoke, VA 24019 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements . The Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database, located at www.ccr.gov. Interested parties may submit inquiries by sending an email to jeannie.swaby@navy.mil. The solicitation will be available on or about 11 JAN 2012. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. and will close on or about 10 FEB 2012.
