- Modification #2 for change in response date Additional Questions and answers received 12/6/2011 1. Question: Is the space above the ceiling 4 foot high or is it taller? Answer 4 foot high. Question: Will this space require framing and the installation of security mesh? Ifso, will the assembly require sheetrock as well as security mesh. Keep in mind that the HVAC system seems to have plenum returns. Answer: The mesh will require angle iron framing attched with steel pop rivets with fender washers on both sides when making cuts in mesh for conduits and ducts., etc. flat stock must be used to reconnect any seems also pop riveted with finder washers "NO" sheetrock will be used above ceilings!! 2. Questions: Does the mesh go only along the demising wall or along the interior walls as well reating a completely sealed off area? Answer: Only on the demising walls. If Mesh is installed on existing finished modular wall systems, will sheetrock need to be installed over the mesh or is the intent mesh above ceiling? Same answer as #1 only mesh above the ceiling.
