- THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available at this time. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI (NCO 12) is soliciting a Sources Sought request to identify a contractor able to provide a mattress that is compatible with the Hill Rom VersaCare Bed Frame currently owned by the FHCC VA. The mattress should be able to provide the same amount of amenities and care equivalent to the Total Care Bariatric Bed and or the Envision Mattress . All equipment shall be delivered FOB destination to the Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, 3001 Green Bay Road. North Chicago, IL 60064. All services shall be performed on-site at Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, 3001 Green Bay Road. North Chicago, IL 60064. All responsible sources may submit a compatibility statement to determine if a competitive procurement is required. If a competitive procurement is deemed necessary the resulting solicitation and specifications will be issued and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments during a procurement process. No telephone requests will be accepted. This Sources Sought will be used to determine if adequate competition exists to purchase a mattress compatible with the current equipment owned by the VA in Lieu of leasing. Contractor must state that their product is compatible with the current equipment owned by the government and that they are able to provide: Labor, Parts, and maintenance Services, Mattresses are available for delivery within 60 days from order, contractor is able to comply with all privacy and security regulations required by Federal and local agencies. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by December 13, 2011 10:00AM CST. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract action based on received compatibility statements will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
