- ERDC Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award for maintenance renewal on previously purchased Microsoft software products via Delivery Order, against the Department of the Army mandated CHESS BPA contract vehicle W91QUZ-09-A-0004, with SoftMart Government Services, Inc., 450 Acorn Lane, Downingtown, PA. The Government currently owns the software being renewed for maintenance. Maintenance is required for continued use and support of these products. This procurement is being conducted under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). These organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 1700 hrs Central Time Zone on 9 December 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
