- In accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, the U.S. Census Bureau, Acquisition Division, Suitland, MD, will continue the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (YA1323-09-CA-0010) with Flagship Custom Services to continue the current AESDirect support services (NAICS code 518210). Services are the continuation of the current AESDirect application's hosting and maintenance that provides internet-based access to the AES. This modification extending the contract through 9-30-2014 with two one-year options is needed to continue services through development, maintenance, and full implementation of the requirements. It is mandated under Title 13, United States Code, Chapter 9, Section 301 internet access to Automated Export System (AES) must be available to the export community without interruption. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of conducting market research regarding the procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government.
