- Description
- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Lanier Parking Solutions for a duration of five (5) years. The proposed action provides garage parking spaces to NRC Employees at the NRC's Peachtree Center Complex Marquis Towers I & II and the International Tower Buildings located at 245 Peachtree Center Avenue, 285 Peachtree Center Avenue, and 192 Peachtree Street located in Atlanta, Georgia. Lanier Parking Solutions is the only authorized garage parking space provider for the complex. The proposed acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. A determination may be made by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice and it is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. NRC intends to purchase the services from Lanier Parking Solutions. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition is FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), where only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Lanier Parking Solutions is the only garage parking space provider at the NRC's location. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 3:00 pm EST on December 20, 2011.
