- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Delivery Order to Telephonics Corporation for the procurement of two (2) Wireless Inter Communication Systems (e.g. AWICS/NetCom Type I Encrypted Mobile System, P/N 597-6050-001) in support of the RQ-21A Program. The government intends to enter into a sole source acquisition as Telephonics Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and holds proprietary rights to the design of of the AWICS TruLink and the NetCom V Inter Communication System (ICS) and is the only source capable of providing engineering and integration of the AWICS TruLink wireless communication system.
