- Description
- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract extension on W911SE-07-D-0026-B501 with Premier Professional Systems, Inc. in Huntsville, AL 92111. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The existing contract expires 31 December 2011. The proposed contract action will be a firm fixed price modification extending the performance period for one month to 31 January 2012 to support various logistics functions at the USAYPG to include supply, warehouse, transportation, post office, hazmart and motor pool functions pending a competitive follow on procurement. This extension is necessary to provide continued support while allowing adequate time to competitively award a follow-on contract and sufficient time for any required transition from the existing contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued.
