- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-12-G-0006 to the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on a sole-source basis for: Procurement of 225 Back Up Hydraulic Power Drive Unit (BUHPDU) Kits (190 MV, 35 CV) designed to eliminate interference and a hydraulic line chaffing/fouling condition. The BUHPDU kits will be procured for retrofit. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort. Also, Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the totality of engineering and technical data required to perform these efforts.
