- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.303, 12.6, and 13.106-2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Proposals which will result in a performance based service contract on Janitorial Services at the Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae, Korea. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.asia.neco.navy.mil/. The solicitation number is N40084-12-R-4501. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This is a full and open competition and the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561720. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, website: www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. This solicitation is intended only for local sources in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). Local sources are those normally resident and licensed to conduct business in Korea. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be held at 14:00 P.M., 23 December 2011 in Bldg. 726, Engineering Conference Room. Required Item and Description are as follows: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform cleaning services at the U.S. Naval Base Chinhae. The work for the basic contract award (CLIN 0001) and two twelve month option periods, Option 1 (CLIN 0002), and Option 2 (CLIN 0003) includes cleaning restroom, space cleaning, and floor care services.
