Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources to provide a Mobile Audiology Clinic. Minimum Specifications are as follows: Unit must include one audiology booth that meets the ANSI S3.1 1993 standards for ambient noise. The sound controlled room must meet Audiometric Examination Specifications (IB 11-78) for construction, fire protection, acoustic performance, electromagnetic shielding, and Maximum Permissible Ambient Noise Levels for Audiometric Test Rooms (ANSI S3.1-1999 et seq). Must be ADA compliant (wheelchair accessible-wheelchair lift included). Clinic space must be climate controlled for temperature extremes from -30 below zero to 120 degree above Fahrenheit, insulated to ensure outside noise is abated. Must include "shore power" option (120V) source and external communication port including (2)-RJ11 phone lines and (4) male CAT 6 for data. Unit shall include separate 12KW (Minimum) diesel generator to power clinic in the absence of shore power. The NAICS code is 339112 and the Classification code is 6545. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
