- Description
- The U.S. Government is seeking expressions of interest in the leasing of approximately 224,000 rentable square feet (RSF) of office and related space for a 15-year term.The RSF must yield a minimum of 209,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet. The proposed space must be contiguous and on consecutive floors. The second (2nd) floor or higher is preferred. Secure parking for 428 vehicles is also required. Indoor, self-parking spaces are preferred, but the Government will consider combinations of indoor and outdoor secure, surface parking spaces. Official law enforcement vehicles must be secured and immediately available for Federal law enforcement response to emergencies. All secure parking must be nearby the proposed office space. The space and secure parking must be located within the following delineated area: Manhattan: Midtown-South to Downtown Brooklyn: Within a five (5) mile radius of the Brooklyn Bridge. All space must be compliant with Federal accessibility and fire and life safety standards. Government security control over public areas and building entry points shall be permitted. Expressions of interest should include: 1. Building Name and Address 2. Floor plan of proposed space 3. Rentable square feet and rental rate per square foot 4. Common area factor(s) for available space by floor, if applicable 5. Location and description of parking facility, and applicable cost per parking space. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a Letter of Authorization from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. The Government will use the requested information to determine the market's ability to support this requirement. Please send expressions of interest to the primary point of contact listed.
