Description
Justification and Approval The Western Regional Contracting Office, 9902 Lincoln Street, Tacoma, Washington, 98431, has awarded a sole source contract to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, for Accreditation Programs, under NAICS code 611710. This requirement is for Graduate Medical Education, Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA 99431. The performance period is 1 January 2012 - 31 December 2014. The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.501(a), Sole Source (including brand name) acquisitions. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Quotes. No solicitation will be issued as a result of this notice. Additionally, no award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), is the only source that evaluates and provides accreditation to physician residency and fellowship programs in the United States. ACGME is the only private, non-profit council that evaluates and accredits medical residency programs in the United States. Madigan Army Medical Center, as designated by the Army Surgeon General, is the responsible for conducting residency and fellowship programs in order to train physicians in a variety of programs in support of the Army's mission. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 1000 PST, 19 December 2011. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided. Responses will be considered for future requirements.
