- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey intends to enter into a 12 month Firm-Fixed-Price contract with four option periods to provide technical expertise to continue with developing and implementing Data Management Architecture Service (DMAS) program efforts based on VA Business Line requirements and needs for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Data Architecture Office. The Contractor shall provide highly technical resources with the expertise and experience to develop DMAS program efforts. The Contractor shall demonstrate their technical expertise, knowledge and program experience in designing and developing DMAS programs that capture many forms of data, such as, i.e., data in motion, static or data at rest, interfaces and portals to include data architecture logical and physical modeling efforts, and implementing the data models at the enterprise level. VA experience in the development with the DAR and the VBA Corporate Database, as well as with the applications supported by VBA, VHA and NCA is also a requirement due to the complexity of a DMAS program effort. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. It is requested that any interested party submit the information required below via email to the point of contact listed at this bottom of this announcement. Interested contractors shall provide the following: "Company Name; "Company Address; "Point of contact name; "Telephone number; "Email address; "Company's business size, including applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s); CAGE code and "Brief capabilities statement not exceeding 2 pages. This request for information, or "sources sought," shall not be construed as a Request For Quote. Information is to be provided on a voluntary basis. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges including postage and shipping will arise as a result of the submission of contractors' information.
