- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Request for Quotes will also use the procedures under FAR Part 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations supplement (VAAR) can be accessed on the Internet at www.arnet.gov/far (FAR) and the (VAAR) (Federal Acquisition Circular). The reference/solicitation number is VA263-12-Q-0299 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The combined synopsis/solicitation will result in a contract to the successful offeror. This RFQ is for a firm-fixed price services contract. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS code is 56211) consisting of a base period and four one-year option years. The contractor shall provide Solid Waste Refuse Collection and Disposal Services IAW the Statement of Work. No Telephonic quotes will be accepted. Only emailed requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov for current status of solicitations and amendments. Place of Performance: The Michael E.
