- Description
- This is a notice of intent to enter into a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase agreement under FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a single source." The Edwards Air Force Flight Test Center intends to enter into an agreement with Zodiac Data System on a sole source basis for the ANR41-8-Chan Analog and ICP Record Module. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334511. ITEM DETAIL AND JUSTIFICATION: The ANR41-8-Chan Analog and ICP Record Module must be 100% compatible with the Zodiac D-200f data recorder. It appears there are no other vendors capable of building these recorders and components that are interoperable with existing Heim equipment. Zodiac Data System has been identified as the only company to offer a direct replacement system that is form, fit, function, and compatible with the existing recorder system. Salient Characteristics: ANR41- 8 Channel Analog and ICP Record Module - Input data Differential* analog voltage - Number of channels 1 up to 8 channels, using the same bandwidth - Signal level** ±1Vp, ±2Vp, ±5Vp and ±10Vp - Differential input impedance 102k ohm| 5pF - Common input impedance 25.5k ohm| 20pF - Common mode rejection (CMR) > 64dB @ 80kHz - Coupling AC, DC or ICP - Analog bandwidth DC to 800Hz - 80kHz, selectable (no mirroring) - Sampling rate / Bandwidth 2.5 - Analog to digital converter 24 bit - Coding on tape 16 bit - Input filter digital FIR-filter with linear phase - Phase error max 0.2° - AC and DC accuracy 0.4% - Dynamic range (SNR) > 80dB - Crosstalk Better than the dynamic range - Distortion (THD) < -80dB - Connector 37 pin D-Sub - Calibration automatically after power on or manually *Input data Differential - with unsymmetrical input it is recommended to connect at least one source signal ground with the module ground. (If the sources are galvanic isolated, it is recommended to connect each isolated ground with the module ground.) **Signal Level- Protected up to +/- (15Vp + 9.5Vrms) NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE: Any vendor/firm that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements as described in "Item Detail" above may submit a detailed capability statement within seven (7) calendar days of this announcement in order to be considered. Responses to this notice must be in writing and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Daisy Joseph via the email link below. The point of contact for this action is Daisy Joseph at daisy.joseph@edwards.af.mil.
