Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W91243-11-T-0001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-23. This is 100% small business set-aside, the NAICS code is 333924 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The following commercial item is requested in this solicitation; 0001 -Helicopter Transporter, Ground Handling Equipment Performance Specs -Lift 8000 lbs -Operated by 1 Person -Must be able to move an OH-58 and UH-72 Helicopter -Battery powered-Sealed Lead Acid Battery is preferable -Must have a manual override down -Must have heavy duty wheels to support weight and traction for a variety of Nebraska weather conditions -Attachment to Aircraft: Cross Tubes is preferable but skids are acceptable -Would like to have a kill switch tethered to the individual while using transporter or another safety feature to ensure the equipment stops if it becomes separated from the operator. Example such as a tether on a treadmill in case traction is lost to stop power and transporter from movement. Details -There is no equipment attached to the skids or belly of the aircraft. -Belly of aircraft does not have to be exposed while transporter is attached.
